TPF Recruitment, Kent’s leading accountancy practice recruitment agency is recruiting for an Accounts Senior to join a fantastic, chartered accountancy practice in Sandwich, Kent.
This firm is currently experiencing growth and can offer excellent future progression prospects. It will be a hands-on, client facing position, where you can maintain a good work life balance.
As an Accounts Senior your responsibilities will include the following :
- Prepare accounts for sole traders, partnerships and ltd companies.
- Prepare client tax returns and advise on tax payable and payment dates
- Bookkeeping, ledger maintenance, supplier maintenance and management accounts, as and when required
- Proactively liaise with clients to obtain relevant information, ensuring attention to detail
- Monitor own job quality and quantity in line with agreed budgets, meeting these targets and exceeding where possible
- Support trainees by providing on the job coaching
- Assisting clients with accounts software and other queries as required
Requirements
To be considered for this role, applicants will have the following skills, experience, and attributes :
- Be ACA or ACCA qualified or qualified by experience
- Be IT literate, preferably with knowledge of Iris, and / or Sage, Xero or Quickbooks
- Have excellent communication, listening and problem-solving skills
- Highly organised and self-motivated
Benefits
- £30,000 - £40,000 dependent on experience and background, negotiable
- 25 days annual leave + 8 days for bank holiday

Requirements
You will be ACA / ACCA or qualified by experience with at least 3 years experience within practice. You will have worked as Semi Senior or Senior accountant within practice Experience of Iris and cloud software such as Xero / Quickbooks would be advantageous
