Job Title : Female Support Worker - Bank
Location : Sutton & Erdington (Birmingham)
Hours : Bank
Shifts : Days / Sleep Ins / Waking Nights

What will the job involve?
- Assisting our people to improve their knowledge, skills and abilities.
- Offer stimulation and motivation through conversation and social activity.
- Assisting with meal preparation, cooking, and cleaning.
- Booking and attending health care appointments with our people.
- Reporting any safeguarding concerns to the management team.
- Maintaining records by keeping care plans and risk assessments up to date.
What you will possess
- Previous experience of working with mental health and challenging behaviours, specifically self harm.
- Knowledge / good understanding of Jamaican culture
- The passion to support people in their day to day lives,
promoting their independence.
- Patience, care and understanding.
- Ability to set clear boundaries.
- Outgoing, engaging and enthusiastic.
