Role Purpose: The IFO Analyst is part of the Investment and Fund Operations Team and is responsible for assisting with the day-to-day support of LPPI Funds and investments. Focusing on oversight of Third-Party Administrators (TPA's) in production of NAV, execution of trades, fx's and cash payments, updating the IBOR for all funds daily and providing support to the investment teams.
Key Responsibilities: Daily oversight of TPA including Fund accounting,
NAV oversight and Transfer Agency services for the Fixed income and Global Equity Funds. Daily Reconciliation of Global Equites & Fixed Income funds (Positions & Cash) for IBOR. Daily oversight of IBOR updates for cashflows (Including Private Markets Capital Calls). Daily oversight and resolution of NAV and Manager Trade Compliance. Daily oversight of Internal Trading to ensure trades are matched and settled in the market (Global Equities). Process client Subscriptions/Redemptions as required. Manage quarterly distribution calculation and payments from funds. Provide investment support to the Investment teams in relation to funds. Manage the day-to-day queries from internal and external parties and respond accordingly.
Quarterly oversight of TPA including Fund accounting, NAV oversight and Transfer Agency services for the Real Estate Fund. Oversee and check the monthly valuation process for clients. Support year end audit queries for the funds. Support the wider Investment and Fund Operations team as required.
Requirements for the role: Demonstrated experience of working in a Fund Accounting or Investment Operations team within an asset manager or third-party provider essential. Ideally, hands on experience of Investment Accounting and valuations both production and management of a daily/monthly/quarterly valuations and reporting cycles. Good level of numerical, analytical and report writing skills,
including the ability to use MS office tools to assist in communication of key messages to facilitate decisions. Broad understanding of different types of investments and trade execution, reconciliations etc A sound understanding of financial markets, and ideally experience with: Pension funds, asset allocation, investment management, derivatives and investment risk / hedging strategies (i.e., currency hedging). Desirable to have advanced knowledge of multiple asset classes to include but not limited to Equities, Fixed Income, Real Estate, possibly credit and Infrastructure debt. Understands the relevant regulatory environment in which LPPI operates. Ability to work through complex problems and challenges to provide innovative insights and solutions. Ability to ask for help when needed Proactive,
