21 hours worked over 3 days Monday - Friday

Actual salary £13,062 (£11.96 per hour)

Workplace auto enrolment Pension Scheme

One year fixed term contract and may be extended further, subject to funding.

Home-Start Rochdale and Bury is a registered charity, based in Castleton Rochdale, providing support for families and children from birth to 12 years.

We have been established for almost 25 years, and we are now recognised as a major source of support for families within Rochdale and Bury. This role plays an essential part to the reporting, recording and monitoring of the work of the charity.





You will also provide admin support for our Chief Executive Officer.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who has previous experience in Data Inputting and retrieving data to produce reports. We are looking for a candidate who would love to work in a challenging but very rewarding environment.

Purpose of the Job

The successful candidate will support the CEO as well as contributing to the smooth and effective running of the office. Excellent verbal and communication skills are essential, as well as previous experience of working on a range of activities and projects.

Main Responsibilities

- Working alongside and under the direction of the CEO, providing administrative support, including the monitoring and analysis of statistical information.

- Establishing and maintaining electronic and manual systems, including online database system and spreadsheet manipulation.

- Ad hoc HR admin support,





e.g supporting recruitment and induction processes for volunteers and staff and preparing information for payroll where appropriate.

- Producing and/or contributing to reports, documents, team meeting minutes, etc, as required

- Effective running of the office and general administrative duties e.g. photocopying, file retention basic IT support, keeping the office tidy etc.

- Assisting the Coordinators and Support Workers to maintain efficient, accurate and confidential records, including statistical collation.

- Acting as the first port of contact for external telephone callers and visitors.

Essential Qualifications/Knowledge

- Previous experience in an administrative support capacity

- Advanced skills on Microsoft Office 365 (especially Word, Excel, Outlook, OneDrive and Microsoft Teams)







- Experience of using a variety of IT packages and a willingness to learn new systems

- Excellent standard of written and spoken English

- Knowledge of GDPR and file retention

- Ability to interpret data and produce outcome in a meaningful format (ie tables, charts, etc)

Job Types: Part-time, Fixed term contract

Pay: £15,067.00 per year
