A well-respected Catholic boys' school in Hillingdon seeks a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join its dedicated team.
This is a full-time, permanent position offering the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young men within a supportive and faith-centered learning environment.
What You'll Do :
- Provide individual and small group support to students across all year groups,
tailored to their specific needs and learning styles.
- Collaborate with teachers to plan and deliver engaging and informative lessons, adhering to the National Curriculum and Catholic school ethos.
- Assist with the preparation and marking of lessons, assessments, and other classroom materials.
- Provide constructive feedback and encouragement to students, fostering their academic and personal development.
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes Catholic values and respect for all.
- Supervise students during break times and extracurricular activities, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- May assist with specific learning programs or initiatives within the school.
We Seek a Candidate Who :
- Holds a relevant qualification (e.g., Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification, GCSEs in core subjects).
- Demonstrates a strong commitment to Catholic values and a desire to work within a faith-based environment.
- Possesses excellent communication,
interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Maintains a positive and patient approach, fostering a sense of security and belonging for students.
- Holds a steadfast commitment to safeguarding and promoting student well-being.
