About the Role :
- Plan, deliver, and assess engaging and informative Geography lessons across all year groups, adhering to the relevant curriculum (GCSE, A-Level, or equivalent).
- Cultivate a stimulating learning environment that fosters a love of exploration, critical thinking, and geographical understanding.
- Guide students in developing a comprehensive knowledge of physical geography, human geography, and environmental issues.
- Prepare students for success in external examinations.
- Stay abreast of advancements in Geographical sciences and integrate them seamlessly into the curriculum.
- Contribute to the development of the Geography curriculum and departmental resources.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the Geography program and contribute to college-wide events.
The Ideal Candidate :
- Possesses a valid QTS in Geography or a closely related discipline.
- Demonstrates a fervent passion for Geography and a captivating teaching style.
