Role Overview :
We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Engineering Teacher to join our enthusiastic faculty. The successful candidate will inspire students through engaging and practical engineering instruction, fostering both theoretical understanding and hands-on skills.
This role involves teaching engineering concepts to students at various levels, from introductory to advanced courses.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and deliver a comprehensive and engaging engineering curriculum.
- Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages problem-solving and critical thinking.
- Teach engineering principles across a range of topics including mechanics, electronics, robotics, and design technology.
- Facilitate hands-on projects and experiments that enhance students’ practical skills and real-world understanding.
- Collaborate with colleagues to integrate engineering concepts into interdisciplinary projects and initiatives.
- Provide individualised support and mentorship to students, encouraging their academic and personal growth.
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in engineering education.
Qualifications :
- A degree in Engineering, Engineering Education, or a related field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
- Previous experience teaching engineering or related subjects at the secondary level.
- Strong knowledge of engineering principles and practical applications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to fostering a creative, inclusive, and positive learning environment.
