We are part of MAPP, the UK’s leading specialist in commercial property and asset management, with over £30bn of property under management for a variety of UK and overseas Fund Managers, REITs and other property owners.

Who Does This Role Report Into? Executive Director - Head of Building Consultancy - London
Role Summary / Purpose and Scope
The Building Surveyor is responsible for supporting client and project leads on any building consultancy projects or part projects under the leadership of relevant Client Lead on behalf of the client taking on ownership, including responsibility for reports, client and occupier engagement, project management and contractor communication.

- An understanding of the rationale behind the building surveying opportunities and showing a readiness to engage.
- Client facing skills
- Auto CAD proficient
- Able to hit deadlines,
targets and KPI’s on tasks / instructions
- Excellent organisational skills
- Strong interpersonal skills, capable of communicating at various levels
- Effective PC skills, including working knowledge of Microsoft and Google packages
- Pro-active, flexible attitude to changes in the company, IT systems and the role
- Fulfil the compliance and policy requirements in accordance with MAPP policies and procedures and the relevant legislative framework

Experience and Salary
Level of Experience / Certifications :
2-3 years experience of working in a similar role
Working Hours : 9am - 5.30pm Monday - Thursday and 9am - 5pm Friday
Salary Range (Based on Experience)
Competitive salary, depending on experience.
