- GMC Registration Fully registered medical practitioner with licence to practice.

- At least three years working in hospital medicine following primary medical qualification
- At least 2 years working in General Internal Medicine or a medical speciality
- Experience and a demonstrable interest in teaching medical students and others
- At least 12 months working in the NHS

- Completion of core medical training or equivalent
- Experience of required practical procedures in medicine
- Previous experience at a medical Registrar or IMT3 level

- Evidence of knowledge and skills to a level that can be communicated to undergraduates by a competent trainee physician
