About the Role
Our client, a highly regarded secondary school in Croydon, South London, is seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Spanish Teacher to join their thriving Modern Foreign Languages department.
This full-time, permanent position commences in September and offers an excellent opportunity for professional growth and development within a supportive and collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and effective Spanish instruction to students across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
- Design and implement innovative lesson plans aligned with the national curriculum and school's educational objectives.
- Assess student progress through regular assessments and provide constructive feedback to promote individual growth.
- Collaborate with colleagues within the MFL department to share best practices and enhance the overall learning experience.
- Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to stay abreast of the latest pedagogical approaches and curriculum advancements.
Qualifications and Experience
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Bachelor's degree in Spanish or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience teaching Spanish to secondary school students.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to foster positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
