General Supply Teacher

Location : Barnsley

Salary : £125 - £150 per day

Start Date : Immediately

Are you an adaptable and enthusiastic General Supply Teacher ready to inspire students across various subjects? GSL Education are seeking a dedicated General Supply Teacher to join our team in Barnsley .

In this role, you will teach a range of subjects, create engaging lesson plans, and provide targeted support to students in both primary and secondary schools.

Whether working with a full class, in small groups, or one-to-one, your role as a General Supply Teacher will ensure that students receive the guidance they need to reach their academic goals.

Responsibilities of General Supply Teacher :







- Teach a variety of subjects required based on the school's needs.
- Design and deliver lesson plans in line with the curriculum and key stages.
- Offer individualised support to students, including those with special needs.
- Create an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
- Assess and track student progress, adapting teaching strategies as needed.
- Collaborate with staff to maintain a high standard of education.

General Supply Teacher Job Requirements :

- QTS or equivalent qualifications such as PGCE, or ECT.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education or a related field.
- Experience in teaching various subjects across different key stages or working as a General Supply Teacher is required.
- Ability to develop and adapt lesson plans to meet curriculum requirements.
- Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
