Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver engaging French lessons to students in accordance with the curriculum
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters student growth and development
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching methods and resources
- Communicate effectively with parents and other stakeholders regarding student progress and performance
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development sessions, and school events
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student attendance, performance, and behaviour
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification
- Proven experience teaching French to primary or secondary school students
- Strong knowledge of the French language and culture
- Ability to effectively plan and deliver engaging lessons
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, empathy, and a passion for education
- Enhanced DBS check or willingness to undergo one
