Role Overview :
We are on the lookout for a passionate and knowledgeable Engineering Teacher to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will engage students with stimulating and practical engineering instruction, promoting both theoretical knowledge and hands-on experience.
This role includes teaching engineering concepts to students at various levels, from introductory courses to advanced topics.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design and implement a comprehensive and stimulating engineering curriculum.
- Cultivate a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters problem-solving and critical thinking.
- Instruct students on engineering principles across a variety of topics, including mechanics, electronics, robotics, and design technology.
- Lead hands-on projects and experiments to enhance students’ practical skills and real-world understanding.
- Collaborate with colleagues to integrate engineering concepts into interdisciplinary projects and initiatives.
- Provide personalised support and mentorship to students, encouraging their academic and personal growth.
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in engineering education.
Qualifications :
- A degree in Engineering, Engineering Education, or a related field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
- Experience teaching engineering or related subjects at the secondary level.
- Strong knowledge of engineering principles and practical applications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to fostering a creative, inclusive, and positive learning environment.
