Key jobresponsibilities
- Monitor site performance against setKPIs and create plans to improve processes
-Set up workplace health and safety programmes and arrange trainingsessions
- Analyse safety metrics andincident trends to help colleagues plan appropriate resources forareas with the highest risk
- Carry outaudits to make sure your site is compliant with relevant health andsafety laws and implement solutions where you identify risks
A day in the life
You’ll be basedon location at one of our sites, which could be one of ourfulfilment centres, sortation centres or delivery stations. Beingon site means that you can keep a close eye on the processes. Aswell as helping us stay on top of health and safety compliance,you’ll spot potential issues and identify opportunities forimprovement. That means working closely with people across thebusiness to get to know the risks they experience and gatheringdata to identify smarter and safer ways that we can work. You’llalso set up training and other programmes to help everyone follownew safety processes and reach new standards.

The CF team are the first peoplein the chain that helps customers get products at the speed we’reknown for. We’re based in Fulfilment Centres, which are at theheart of Amazon’s fast-paced Operations network. Our centres aresometimes referred to as the ‘First Mile’ because it’s where mostAmazon packages start their journey.
We help to manage dynamicinventory and facilitate speedy deliveries round theclock.
Lots of different people work in our FulfilmentCentres, so there are plenty of opportunities for every skillset.Some of us work with physical products, while others analyse datato help everyone across the business make smartdecisions.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS-Experience in workplace health & safety (WHS) relatedfield
- Education to Degree level
- NEBOSHDiploma/NVQ5 level or equivalent qualification
-Understanding of UK Environment, health and safetylegislation
- Advanced proficiency in written and spokenEnglish
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS-Experience with Lean, 5S and Kaizen methodologies
-Relevant experience of communicating with a wide range ofstakeholders, including your peers and leadership
-Strong stakeholder managementcapabilities
