We are passionate about the industry and always on the lookout for new talent to join us on our journey...A DAY IN THE LIFE of a Reservations Manager at Hampton by Hilton London Waterloo What you'll be doing...Reporting to Revenue Manager, you can expect your working day to include the following.1. To assist in covering all tasks required within the department2.







Be aware of Occupancy / Revenue Budget & Forecast / planned figures and act upon to ensure targets are met.3. To work as part of a team to ensure all individual and group reservations are inputted accurately and concisely into the Property Management System, in accordance with company rules and procedures.4. To efficiently answer all calls enquiring about reservations and help others in the department as and when necessary.5.

To convert bedroom accommodation enquiries into bookings on the phone, in person or by correspondence, handling all telephone calls in a friendly and professional manner, seeking assistance with queries as required.6. To negotiate and up-sell as necessary to maximise all potential revenue opportunities.7. Process group reservations from start to finish, which includes Quoting for groups, preparing contracts, preparing Pro-Forma invoices, posting group deposit, putting the rooming list in the system, looking after the group requirements, sending group invoices, and close the group masters.8.

Use DELPHI for tracking purposes. Ensuring all inquiries are loaded into DELPHI with all the relevant information.

To ensure all turndowns and lost business is recorded in DELPHI10. To maximise revenue and profitability by careful diary management11. Ensure credit facilities/payment procedures are adhered to and passed to the Accounts Department for approval.12.

Assist Accounts and Front Office staff in ensuring that group and M&E; billing is correct. 13. Check commission invoices and forward them to the account department to process for both group and M&E.14.;

Liaise and communicate special requirements to other departments e.g., Cots, VIPs, and late arrivals.15. Ensure a consistently high level of quality and service is always provided by following all procedures in place.16. To ensure the handling of all aspects of individual,





group and M&E; reservations is handled efficiently and promptly.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOUTo succeed in the role ofa Reservations Manager, you will need the following qualities and skills.1. Managing team with diverse backgrounds in a fast-paced environment. 2. Handling challenging and pressure situations and covert these into opportunities.

3. To respond to and follow up on enquires by post, telephone, email, and personal visits.4. To develop and maintain existing and new customers through planned individual account support, and liaison with sales team. We hire mostly on personality & potential but here are a few of our requirements.

..1+ year of hands-on reservations/M&E; sales experience. Multi-brand and experience in both large and small hotels are an advantage.





The property turns over 21 million+ and has a stand-alone restaurant hence experience in a similar environment is essential.

Any sales software experience is essential e.g. Sales force, meeting broker, Delphi etc. Must be eligible to live and work in the UKHighly computer literate with a good level of PPT and Word knowledge.
