Enhanced pension scheme Roles and responsibilities:Oversee and manage mechanical engineering projects from conception to completion, ensuring they meet quality, budget, and timeline requirements. Lead the design, specification, and development of mechanical systems and components, including HVAC, piping, and other building services. Provide technical guidance and support to engineering teams, contractors, and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
Collaborate with electrical, plumbing, and structural engineers to ensure seamless integration of mechanical systems with other building services. Ensure all mechanical systems comply with relevant industry codes, safety regulations, and sustainability standards. Monitor project costs, prepare budgets, and work to ensure projects remain within financial constraints.
Identify potential risks in mechanical engineering designs and projects, implementing strategies to mitigate them. Conduct site visits to assess progress,
quality of installation, and adherence to design specifications. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing technical queries, providing updates, and ensuring client expectations are met.
Coordinate with suppliers and contractors to procure equipment and materials, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with project requirements. Prepare detailed project documentation, including reports, drawings, and technical specifications for project handover and future reference.
