Mind Partners is a retained head-hunting firm with offices in Paris, London and New York.
We are partnering with ACEPP, an industrial technology consulting firm that has served clients in the nuclear, civil, military, and naval sectors for over 25 years.
ACEPP recently opened a UK subsidiary in Bristol as part of its international expansion. They are now seeking a dynamic and driven HR Business Partner to join the team and contribute to the development in the UK.
The HR Business Partner will play a vital role in the company's development.
You will create, define, and implement the HR strategy while working closely with the UK managing director and the management team.
You will be involved in critical decision-making,
and your role will also include recruitment, onboarding, career management, and training.
You will report directly to the UK managing director and the group HR director. back in France.
Responsibilities
1. Create, develop and implement HR policies and procedures while ensuring business and legal framework compliance.
2. Drive performance by continuously implementing and reviewing processes and procedures.
3. Work closely with HQ to resolve local HR issues while liaising with the senior management team following local policies and laws.
4. Recruitment
- Based on Acepp UK's objectives and strategy, you will identify recruitment needs and define the recruitment strategy.
- You will be in charge of recruitment campaigns, from Ads and profile searches to interviews to pre-selection.
- With the MD and the Senior team, you will find creative and innovative solutions to identify and attract candidates in a challenging candidate-driven market.
- With senior management, you will define short-, mid-,
and long-term recruitment strategies while also working on internal staff promotion, learning, and development.
5. Talent learning and development
- Create, define and organise a L&D; strategy that aligns with company culture and values
- Develop and promote new skills learning and minimize staff turnover by developing their skills

6. Daily admin work
- You will look after admin, expenses, sick days, holidays, payroll...
- Arrange daily and weekly planning and any admin, paper work and regulations related to it
- Advise senior management team on employee relationships and best practices, and disciplinary procedures when required.
7. Compensation and Benefits
- Manage the C&B; strategy by ensuring employees' compensation and benefits are aligned with current and future business objectives and goals.
8. Promote Acepp's culture and values regarding well-being, diversity and inclusion in a work environment.
REQUIRED SKILLS
- You have a degree in Human Resources (CIPD or equivalent)
- 3 years experience as an HR Business Partner or in a similar position.
- You will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills and the ability to work autonomously while collaborating with team members.
- You will have experience managing payroll, benefits, and HR-related issues.
- An excellent command of English is required. We are also looking for a good command of French (desired but not mandatory).
