TA2 Grade D - SCP 6 23,893 to SCP 11 12,024 per annum dependent on experience
Actual salary is 11,059 to 12,024 per annum plus pro rata SEN Allowance
20 hours + SEN allowance, Term Time+5 Permanent Position
Monday to Thursday 8:40am 12:45pm
Friday 8:20am 12:00pm
The Governors at Heathfield Primary School would like to appoint an experienced and highly motivated teaching assistant/ SEND Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join the Heathfield family to support a child in our Year 2 class in the mornings and during lunchtime.
We are looking for someone with knowledge and experience of working in the primary phase and in a range of Special Educational Needs and who will demonstrate their passion for our mission statement Learning Together, Learning for Life.
The successful candidate will:
Love working with children
Establish good working relationships with children, acting as a role model
Experience of promoting effective communication and language
Experience of delivering phonics
Experience of working with a child(ren) with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs and supporting children to self-regulate
Have experience of delivering a highly adapted, bespoke learning curriculum delivered in small chunks using multi-sensory methods.
Have experience in supporting children to record their learning in a variety of ways
Experience of delivering speech, language and communication and/or willing to undergo training
Be aware of and respond appropriately to individual pupil needs
Promote inclusion and acceptance of all children
Demonstrate commitment to quality learning
Have experience working and/or qualifications within the area of SEND
Work well with other staff and agencies
Be motivated, have a positive attitude and enjoy a challenge
