JOB TITLE: International Arbitration Lawyer
LOCATION: London
SALARY: to £193,000
A top global law firm is seeking an ambitious lawyer with 2-4 years of post-qualified experience to join its London team, to work alongside a highly acclaimed hall of fame partner. The team is renowned for its extensive experience in energy disputes across the MENA and CIS regions, as well as international construction and shareholder-related arbitrations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle high-value and complex international arbitrations in the energy, infrastructure, construction, telecommunications, and financial sectors.
- Manage disputes over Joint Operating Agreements, construction and off-take agreements for refineries and petrochemical plants,
and issues related to rig operations, energy trading, coal, and nuclear power plants.
- Represent clients in multi-jurisdictional disputes, focusing on infrastructure, shareholder, and financial disputes.
- Conduct arbitrations under the auspices of major institutions, including LCIA, ICC, DIAC, Swiss, Stockholm, Hong Kong, and UNCITRAL Rules.
- Advocate for both investors and states in bilateral investment treaties and ICSID cases.
First-class academics and experience within a top-tier international arbitration team in London are essential. Proficiency in an additional language is required, with Mandarin being a significant advantage.

- The firm has a realistic chargeable hours target of 1700, providing a balanced and sustainable work environment.
