LNG Analyst

Pangea is representing a global energy trading firm that is keen to speak with LNG Analysts who will focus on fundamental analysis and contribute to long-term trading strategies in their London office. This is a Front Office role.

Key Responsibilities:

- Analyse LNG supply, demand, and market dynamics in European markets.
- Develop long-term trading strategies based on market fundamentals.
- Monitor economic, geopolitical, and weather factors affecting gas markets.
- Build and maintain quantitative models to forecast market trends.
- Produce reports and presentations for senior management and trading teams.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align on strategy and market views.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Economics,





Finance, Engineering, or related field; Master’s preferred.
- Experience in fundamental analysis within energy markets, focusing on LNG.
- Strong analytical skills and experience in data modeling.
- Experience in a Front Office Trading environment.
- Proficiency in Python.
- Deep understanding of European gas markets.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
