Responsibilities of a Year6 teacher :
As a Year 6 teacheryou will be responsible for the pastoral care of children takingtheir first steps in Key Stage 2 promoting teamwork and cultivatinga conducive learning environment.
Teaching theKey Stage 2 curriculum to groups of children while also focusing oneach individual childs learning targets encouraging their strengthsand improving their weaknesses
Keepingtrack of childrens progress and occasionally reporting back toparents
Year 6 Teacherrequirements :
QTS PGCE and strongacademic record
Creative imaginative determinedresourceful and adaptable practitioner
Able to demonstrate a track record of success within a Year 6environment
Able to communicate your passion tochildren andparents
