TPF Recruitment Kentsleading accountancy practice recruitment agency are recruiting onbehalf of a fantastic firm of chartered accountants who are basedin Ashford and looking for an Accounts Assistant join them.
Ourclient can be completely flexible on the position based on thelevel of experience and aspirations of the applicant. This will bea handson position where you will be responsible for accounts taxbookkeeping and VAT services to a varied portfolio of clients basedacross Kent.
Clients are predominately under the audit thresholdand mainly owner managed businesses.
You willhave lots of autonomy and report into the Manager. You will alsosupport more junior members of the team and have lots of clientcontact.
- Assistingthe preparation of year end accounts for both incorporated andunincorporated clients in a wide variety of sectors
- Bookkeeping
- Preparingpersonal and corporation tax computations and returns
- Assistingthe Manager with ad hoc project work for clients
- Liaisingwith clients over their accounts and queries
- Mentoringtrainees and help them withqueries
Requirements
AccountsAssistantAshford
- Youwill be AAT Qualified / studying or ACCA / ACA studying or qualifiedby experience with a minimum of 25 years experience withinpractice.
- Experienceof Iris Sage QuickBooks or Xero would be advantageous but isnt aprerequisite.
- Youmust have experience of preparing bookkeeping or accounts in anaccountancy practiceenvironment.
