Job description
We are seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to join our existing team of Research Technical Professionals (RTPs) in the Centre for Health Informatics to support our work with secure data environments.
The postholder will contribute to the design and implementation of IT infrastructure for the analysis of health data. Our team recognise the significant contributions that RTPs make to the success of our programmes and strive to offer more effective and flexible working environments, better career progression opportunities and training / certification that is formally recognised by both industry and academia.
The postholder will have experience of working on complex technical IT projects and be able to demonstrate a good understanding of virtualisation and containerisation technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
The successful candidate will be expected to design and deploy cloud computing services and must be familiar with public cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure.

This role can be based out of our Oxford Road campus or fully remote.
