Job description
A rota position hasopened up with one of our best London families! Our super kind warminternational family is looking for an experienced responsible andfun completely fluent French German or Spanish speaking nanny tolook after their 2 very young children in north Notting Hill / North Kensington.
Theposition is 2 weeks on / off. When in London (most of the time) thehours are 7am til 7pm and the nanny lives out so you must livewithin a reasonable commute of their home in North Kensington.
Whentravelling the hours are 24 / 14.
Thefamily is flexible on salary for the right nanny. Rota 2wks on / 2wks off. This is a rota position where you will work a 12 hour dayfor 14 days on (then 14 days off) in London.
However the salarycovers 24 / 14 so on occasion when the family is away or the parentsare away for an evening you would be expected to stay over and beavailable for the full 24 hrs.
Each shift of 14 days 12 hours perday is demanding therefore they need a nanny who lives closeby forthecommute.
Theirchildren are G15yr and B3y. The little boy goes toschool.
Lookingfor a professional nanny with lots of energy initiative and warmth.Someone who will arrange plenty of fun activities and excursionsincluding a social life for both children with playdates.
Bothparents work mum works partly from home but will be more officebased as time progresses. She will want to be able to see thechildren at lunch time or at a tea break during the day so nannyshould be comfortable with this.
She will be careful that this doesnot interrupt nanny splans.
Thisyoung family enjoy a positive friendly and open environment athome. Mum explains that she likes good communication and foreveryone to know what they are doing.
Things work well for them andfor the children when the structure and routine is followed. Theparents believe this gives security to the children and makes forhappier children (and everyone else in thehome!).
Thefamily keep a very clean and tidy house and it is important to thefamily that the nanny also likes it thisway.
Theyare looking for a nanny who will be a long term part of theirhousehold / family. They look after their staff and believe in giveand take and giving each other flexibility when required eg.
If thenanny wants to take extraholiday.
Thefamily travel overseas during holidays to stay with their family shomes abroad. They spend summer at the beach house in New York (TheHamptons) and they spend time in France and Germany too.
When theyare abroad the rota schedule might be 3w on / off. They dont expecttheir rota nanny to stay with them longer than that at anytime.
They will fly you home and the other nanny will be flown out tothem.
Nannyshould be experienced enough to be comfortable with shared caresole care and proxyparenting.
They wouldlove for nanny to see the travelling part of the job as fun andexciting and something they like to do. It would be helpful ifnanny could drive as this could be helpful for the job but also forthe nanny themselves when abroad but driving is not needed inLondon.
Pleasenote the family is high profile and discretion isimportant.
