£35,000 - £41,000, Rotherham, Permanent, 22 days annual leave plus stats (30 in total) increasing to 35 days, private health care, pension, free car parking, bonus schemes, Monday - Friday
We are proud to be working in partnership with an innovative, modern manufacturing business based in Rotherham to recruit for a Technical Engineer on a full time permanent basis.

- Working as a Technical Engineer you will be reporting into the Technical Manager you will be responsible for;
- Co-ordinating and implementing foundry techniques inclusive of Titanium and air techniques as well as thermal processing
- Ensuring technical sign offs are completed
- Writing and complete Finishing Route Cards
- Approving heat treatment techniques obtaining support from Technical Director
- Attending and contribute to the Techniques meeting
- Assisting in developing, improving, and monitoring manufacturing processes
- Compile and keep up to date logs of product development and data analysis for key customer issues / trials within shared access
- Being the main technical lead in supporting projects for customers, inclusive of customer project meetings
- Directing and control workloads, ensuring they are manageable, and the completion dates adhered to
- Interpreting and present data to management or senior colleagues
- Responding to enquiries.
This role would suit someone who is currently working as a Manufacturing Engineer or Technical Coordinator within a heat treatment, foundry,
steelworks or castings environment.
- You will;
- Have knowledge of foundry and heat treatment techniques
- Excellent IT skills
- Have the ability to take on technical information
- Be competent working with an internal database
- Ability to learn and develop technical product knowledge
- Strong literacy skills
- Ability to work independently
This is a new role within the business as part of their growth and future projected plans.
