Summary
Cleaning Coordinator
- Based at London Stansted Airport
- Soft services team
- Permanent role
- Full Time (42 hours per week) Shift working role 12 hour shifts covering all days of the week. 0700 1900, 1900 0700, 2 days, 2 nights, 4 off.
- Salary £29,549 rising to £32,726 upon successful probation, plus 17.5% shift pay

The role
As a Cleaning Coordinator at London Stansted Airport, you will be the first line of response for any cleaning issues.
Effectively leading on deep cleaning projects as requested from a technical and planning perspective, supporting the Duty Cleaning Supervisor with operational delivery of cleaning excellence standards across the airport.
This is a role that will require the postholder to support the cleaning team by monitoring attendance, performance and provide updates to the duty cleaning supervisor.
A varied job role that takes in aspects of administration and cleaning excellence, maintaining a visible presence on the floor throughout the shift.
Within this role you will be mentoring and developing the senior cleaning operatives to ensure an adequate succession plan is in place.
Promote and drive an innovative approach to achieving objectives, making best use of the latest industry techniques with a view to realising best practice.

Excellent technical knowledge of cleaning services
Able to demonstrate experience of building effective, lasting professional relationships with colleagues.
Good working knowledge of cleaning best practice and COSHH
Self-motivated individual with strong communication skills
Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to influence and motivate at all levels
Experience of managing people
Used to working in a busy, high footfall working environment
Able to understand a peak and flow operation, take direction from the Duty Cleaning Supervisor and react in real time to operational requirements.
