Kennedys is looking for an Associate to work in its Professional Liability team in London, specialising in construction claims and coverage advice.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our highly regarded and growing team.

Team

Kennedys' recognised team of dedicated Construction Professional Indemnity specialists handle a vast range of disputes and provide complex coverage advice to our insurers' clients.

Our clients include general insurers and reinsurers, and their insureds including design and building contractors, subcontractors, architects, engineers, quantity surveyors, and project managers.

Our focus on the insurance industry means we really understand the legal,





commercial and regulatory issues our clients face.

Cases

A vast range of construction Professional Indemnity disputes and complex coverage advice.

Required experience

- 1-4 years' UK Qualified Solicitor / Foreign Qualified Lawyer or CILEX qualified with the relevant experience*
- Experience of professional indemnity policies and coverage issues in the Construction Professional Indemnity sector
- Experience in handling high value construction claims
- Experience of both assisting on and supervising large cases in a team environment
- Previous client contact and attendance at business development events
- Experience of arbitration, adjudication, and negotiation as well as court proceedings in the TCC.
