Job Title : Assistant Technician EC&I;, Electrical
Duration : 12 Months ASAP start subject to clearance
Location : Burghfield - RG30 3RR
NRL have a number of roles to join a project in Reading, this is a prestigious project with long term opportunities to help deliver and install the next generation nuclear blast proof doors.
Blast proof nuclear door installation on a Weapons establishment in the Reading area. Working on UK prestigious project for a major world wide Nuclear consultancy.
Expectations in the role : -
- Within their competency, carry out work as instructed by the Supervisor, in accordance with the requirements of the task documentation, with due care.
- To comply with any health and safety requirements of the work pack or work area.
- To carry out safety and behavioural observation.
- To comply with quality requirements of the work pack.
- To not proceed past a hold point.
- To report any defects, damage, safety hazards or other problems to their line manager.
You will need : -
- Applicants must have lived and worked in the UK for the last 5 years.
- SC or DV - Mandatory for access to site.
- ECS / CSCS Card relevant to qualifications and role - Mandatory for access to site.
- Site Installation experience (preferred) in Nuclear Industry / Power Generation.

- Fulltime site-based role 11 shifts on, 3 shifts off.
- £ per hour Umbrella / £ per hour PAYE Inclusive of £ per hour shift enhancement.
- For each day travelled to site, a £100 per diem Umbrella / £ per diem PAYE is payable to workers travelling more than 30 miles to site.
