Exciting opportunity to join a progressive school for children and young adults with SEN!
This Surrey-based School is looking for an experienced Class Teacher to join a fun and supportive team at a purpose built school.
This is a school for children aged 2-19 with a range of needs, including Severe, Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties, and Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD).

- Passionate about helping children and young people achieve their full potential
- Experience of leading successful teaching activities
- Experience of working collaboratively with parents, and other professionals
- Knowledge of current good practice in good teaching
- Successful experience of differentiating lessons to enable pupils to access the curriculum
- Ability to remain calm and consistent when working with students demonstrating challenging behaviour
- Able to build confidence and motivation
- Able to learn quickly and communicate effectively
- Able to build robust and effective relationships with students
- Able to remain calm and resilient when placed in situations of stress or conflict
- Flexible and adaptable
- Caring, compassionate, and a good listener
- Promote the school’s vision, values and aims
ASAP start / September start
Full-time
Salary : MPS (up to M6) + Additional SEN Allowance + Fringe, £140-£200 per day
Excellent on-site training, support and CPD is provided
