Job description
Role Responsibility
In this role, you will be responsible for creating a thriving workplace and ensure your team are satisfied in their job and work environment.
You will act as a role model for all ambassadors by continuously exhibiting a high level of service and attention to detail in all tasks
Other responsibilities will include :
- Dealing with rotas, sickness, lateness and staffing issues
- Delegating tasks to supervisors and ambassadors
- Handling customer escalated complaints and resolving issues
- Recruiting and interviewing new hires
- Leading training or providing one-on-one training to ambassadors
- Support additional training and coaching as needed to ensure everyone is performing their job properly
- Resolving HR issues
- Motivating employees to perform well, creating a thriving workspace
- H&S; and Risk Management
- Managing projects as assigned and organising teams to assist in these efforts
- Liaise with 3rd party partners & key stake holders on a day to day basis
The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will have :
- A minimum of 1 year proven work experience as Guest Service Manager in a small contract, Front of House Manager or a Senior Supervisor within a similar contract
- An understanding of all FOH management best practices and expectations
- A high level of proficiency in English, both verbal and written
- Customer service drive with outstanding communication and active listening skills
- Excellent problem-solving and multitasking skills
- Leadership skills along with the ability to motivate a remote team into high performance
- The ability to work flexible hours
- A strong sense of responsibility and a professional presentation
- Be able to build rapport with colleagues and clients alike
- Always strive to improve with innovation and creativity
