Salary > £65k - 85k
Hybrid UK office 2 – 3 days / wk and Client Site as Required
Not another humdrum consulting role where you’re part of the machine - you turn up, do your job, and go home - Dull and unrewarding and unnoticed.
Not here, in this role you’ll be working on different fronts, utilising different skills and developing new ones, working shoulder to shoulder with the CISO, and playing a central role in the future direction of this busy and well-funded cyber security practice.
Although in its formative years, this practice is an independent subsidiary of a larger, well-established firm. The road map is to turn the cyber function into a wrap-around MSSP, and it’s well on its way.

Some of the Skills Required by the Cyber Security Consultant:
- Experience delivering engagements, identifying and prioritising risk, and proposing risk-mitigating controls.
- A current knowledge of the cyber threat landscape.
- Experience auditing against security frameworks such as the ISO 27001 / Cyber Essential, identifying gaps, and recommending controls.
- If you have certs such as, CISM, CISSP.
- Great verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate tech issues to non-tech audiences in jargon-free language.
