IT Internal Audit Manager
Our client, a leading global manufacturing company, is seeking an experienced and results-driven IT Audit Lead to join their Corporate Audit team. This role is crucial in ensuring the integrity of their IT systems and processes and plays a key part in maintaining compliance with SOX regulations and identifying areas for improvement across their global operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead IT Audits: Plan and execute a variety of technology, operational, risk-based, and IT SOX audits in alignment with the corporate audit risk assessment and audit plan.
- Collaborate with Senior IT Management: Maintain ongoing contact with Sr.
IT Management at global and regional levels to stay informed about technology, infrastructure, and operational systems.
- Identify Improvement Opportunities: Utilize audit findings to identify opportunities for enhancing controls and systems across the organization.
- Special Projects & Risk Assessment: Lead special projects and proactively identify emerging technologies to develop audit plans that address associated risks.
- Supervise & Mentor Audit Team: Provide guidance and direction to staff, ensuring effective planning and execution of audits. Review audit reports and work papers to ensure comprehensive documentation and actionable recommendations.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Economics Accounting, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 7 years of progressive IT audit experience, ideally with Big 4, large public accounting firms, or publicly traded companies.
- Skills: Strong leadership capabilities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to interact with Executive Management. Experience with IT SOX is essential
- Travel:
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 15%.
