Position: Mental Health Support Worker
Location: Stevenage
Employment Type: Full-Time (Flexible working hours)
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality mental health support to individuals, helping them manage their mental health needs and promoting their independence.
- Develop and maintain strong, supportive relationships with service users.
- Assist with daily living activities, emotional support, and care planning.
- Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure holistic care.
- Maintain detailed records and reports to track the progress and well-being of service users.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working in mental health support roles within the UK.
- Must possess a full UK driving license.
- DBS registered to the Update service: Both Adult & Child Workforces.
- In-depth knowledge of mental health conditions and strategies to support individuals.
- Excellent communication skills, patience, and empathy.
- Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and evenings if required.
