They are seeking a highly skilled KYC Analyst with experience in onboarding funds to join their Compliance Department.
Position Overview:
The KYC Analyst will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies related to Know Your Customer (KYC) procedures. The primary focus of this role is on the onboarding of investment funds,
ensuring that all necessary due diligence is performed accurately and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in KYC processes, specifically related to investment funds, and a keen eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- KYC Onboarding:
- Conduct comprehensive KYC reviews for new investment funds, including verifying and validating all required documentation.
- Perform detailed risk assessments to identify potential financial crime risks.
- Ensure all KYC records are up-to-date and in compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies.
- Due Diligence:
- Conduct Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) on high-risk clients and complex structures.
- Utilize various internal and external databases to gather and verify KYC information.
- Perform periodic reviews of existing clients to ensure ongoing compliance.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Liaise with internal stakeholders, including relationship managers, legal, and compliance teams, to ensure seamless onboarding processes.
- Communicate effectively with external clients to obtain necessary documentation and information.
- Regulatory Compliance:
- Stay abreast of changes in KYC regulations and industry best practices.
- Assist in the development and implementation of KYC policies and procedures.
- Participate in internal and external audits, providing necessary information and documentation as required.
- Reporting and Documentation:
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all KYC activities.
- Prepare regular reports on KYC onboarding status, issues, and risks for senior management.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of KYC processes and systems.
