About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Russell Group Graduate Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant and inclusive school. As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers, supporting students both inside and outside the classroom. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic school environment while making a real difference in the lives of young learners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-to-one or small group support to students,
particularly those with SEN or additional needs.
- Assist the class teacher with lesson preparation and classroom management.
- Help with marking and assessing students’ work.
- Foster a positive and engaging learning environment for all students.
- Support students' academic progress and emotional well-being.
- Contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular activities
Requirements:
- A degree from a Russell Group university (minimum 2:1 classification).
- A strong passion for education and a desire to pursue a career in teaching.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build strong relationships with students and staff.
- Previous experience working with children or young people (preferred but not essential).
- Commitment to the values of the school and to providing a supportive learning environment.
