JOB DESCRIPTION – Senior Salesforce Data Analyst

Location: London (hybrid)

THE TEAM

This role is within our Global IT and Salesforce Technology department This role will work in partnership with a project team which will consist of 3rd party consultants, the Global Salesforce Business Analyst Team, the Global Salesforce Operations (Administrator) Team and the Global Salesforce PMO function.

The Global Salesforce Team supports B2B Salesforce across the entire Ticketmaster business globally, with core teams located in North America and the United Kingdom and a significant number of work-from-home team members.





The team operates within the broader Salesforce footprint of our corporate parent, Live Nation.

The Global Salesforce Team is a service organization dedicated to delivering world-class enabling technology to the global Ticketmaster and International Live Nation businesses. As such, the team prides itself on building and maintaining close relationships with business leaders as well as developing a deep understanding of the business processes and challenges they face every day. Every member of the team has a business-first, technology-second mindset.

The team is tasked with assuring that the Salesforce platform and its associated technologies are properly maintained following best practice methodologies and importantly following our global data privacy and governance models, our audit and compliance policies and procedures,





along with ensuring our systems are kept safe and secure following both IT, Compliance, Data Privacy and Information Security policies.

THE JOB

Ticketmaster has recently completed a very large project to consolidate two large Salesforce orgs. Coming out of the project, we are committed to providing the best possible platform to enable business processes, enhance reportability, and facilitate new technology adoption such as AI.

In this role, the Senior Data Analyst will be the primary point of contact with the business on data matters, own our backup and archiving tools, champion data quality, and represent the Salesforce team in crossfunctional initiatives where interoperability of data is paramount.

This role is unique in that this person is a “doer” – maintaining tools,





moving/updating/extracting data, and extracting insights. But this person must also be able to work with the business, build credibility, and become a trusted adviser. They must manage and manipulate data at a very minute level, but also understand the broader context, business drivers and processes that underpin their work. This individual must be reliable, thorough, and

Data is foundational to many of our upcoming corporate initiatives. The person in this role will be front and center as we adopt cutting edge technologies such as AI and no-data-copy data lakes.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

Working with key business SMEs and stakeholders, this individual will:

- Be the key individual on the team for all data matters






- Ensure our compliance with data laws and regulations such as GDPR and with corporate data retention policies
- Own and drive data related projects within the Salesforce team
- Advise projects on data models, integrations, validation rules and other tools to ensure proper architecture and best practices, and set us up for long-term maintainability
- Hands-on data cleansing, migration, and investigations
- Own and be the subject matter expert for our data tools such as Druva backup, and document processes and procedures
- Advise the technical team on environment strategy and own data seeding processes for sandbox refreshes
- Proactively manage our quotas in our systems and guarantee we don’t go over
- Work closely with other teams throughout the company to ensure Salesforce data can be easily consumed by other systems and vice versa






- Serve as liaison to other teams to solidify definitions of data that exists across systems and organizations
- Maintain a data dictionary
- Champion data cleanliness and quality

TECHNICAL SKILLS/COMPETENCIES

- Required

- Proven years’ hands-on experience in as a data analyst on the Salesforce platform
- Exceptional communication and influencing skills – written and verbal
- Ability to work independently, lead initiatives, and solve complex problems
- Advanced skills in Python or R
- Wizard-level skills in Microsoft Excel
- Certified Salesforce Administrator
- Certified Salesforce Data Architect
- Strongly Preferred

- Career Salesforce professional
- Salesforce Certified App Builder






- Experience building ML models using tools such as TensorFlow
- Experience with Salesforce Event Monitoring
- Experience with a Salesforce backup and data seeding tool such as OwnBackup or Druva
- Experience with data analysis tools: Einstein Analytics, Tableau, and/or DataBricks
- Experience with Salesforce Data Cloud
- Strong “instincts” to build solutions that are architecturally sound, maintainable, and scalable
- Client-facing experience in a consulting organization
- Experience working with and/or migrating multilingual data
- Experience as a business analyst or project manager
- Bachelor’s degree. Candidates with nontechnical or alternative academic backgrounds are welcome.
