As Associate Creative Director at AKQA, you will inspire and lead a creative team to design innovative and impactful digital experiences that influence consumer behaviour.
Your role will focus on crafting and bringing to life beautiful ideas through the thoughtful use of interactive media and design principles. You will play a key part in shaping the future of digital communication and marketing for some of the world’s leading brands, creating work that pushes the boundaries of design while delivering meaningful results for our clients.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
- Collaborate with internal product teams and clients to gather needs, run workshops, and ensure clear communication of requirements.
- Confidently collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams within AKQA to deliver exceptional value and identify new opportunities.
- Maintain equal expertise in both UI and UX design, ensuring a balanced and holistic approach to digital experiences.
- Take a proactive approach in ensuring the quality of output from design to development, working closely with development teams to implement and maintain robust design systems.
- Inspire clients with innovative, creative solutions for complex challenges, transforming data into actionable design insights.
- Deliver across all project phases—from high-level ideation, sketches, and prototyping to detailed feature specifications and final execution.
- Leverage the latest design and prototyping tools to conceive, pitch, and iterate on original ideas, frequently validating concepts with end users.
- Present work confidently to clients and stakeholders, fostering collaborative relationships while maintaining creative excellence.

- Strong eye for detail, ensuring excellence across the digital experience.
- Extensive experience working with and leading large-scale design systems.
- Proven experience leading product development efforts within large, multidisciplinary teams.
- A drive to continually iterate, refine,
and improve digital experiences based on user feedback and data insights.
- Confident in communicating with and influencing key stakeholders and clients to achieve the best outcomes.
- Fearless, creative, and relentlessly attentive to detail, with a passion for delivering exceptional, forward-thinking design solutions.
