The Opportunity
We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic individual who is seeking a new challenge in an exciting and high-growth business. Alpha FX Group plc (LON: ALPH) is a leading provider of financial solutions for global corporates and institutions. Solutions include FX risk management, accounts, payments, multi-bank connectivity and fund finance.
A new role for the business, the successful candidate will join our existing marketing team of four people and support on a wide range of marketing, events, and communications initiatives. The ideal candidate will have the confidence and experience to take on responsibility for organising events from day one. This is an exciting time to join our high-growth marketing function that has demonstrated value to the business over the years.
This role is primarily office-based in Institutional’s London Head Office, with ad hoc travel to other offices and national / international events as required.
Key Responsibilities
- Support with the execution of marketing campaigns and initiatives across the Group, including our new publication The Line.
- Manage the organisation and delivery of a year-round calendar of in-house and external business events – including exhibitions, seminars, speaking slots, presentations, a summit and client entertainment.
- Support with managing and engaging The Line members, including approving new members, sending newsletters, and sharing articles on social media.
- Budget management to ensure resources spread across a busy events calendar is essential.
- Regular reporting on the success of events and other marketing activity – recording quantitative and qualitative feedback from internal stakeholders.
- Build positive working relationships with key internal stakeholders, including assigning roles and responsibilities for events, hosting team briefs/debriefs, requesting content contributions, etc.
- Ensure brand identity and messaging is consistent and up to date across the business, website, advertising, LinkedIn and events.
- Write content for B2B audiences, including but not limited to, email, advertising, fact sheets and LinkedIn channels.
- Create effective briefs and coordinate / negotiate key agency and supplier relationships.
- Coordinate projects and ensure they run on time, to budget and to brief.
- Assist with the maintenance and upkeep of the company’s website and wider collateral.
Skills & Experience Required
- 2 years+ experience in a previous marketing or events role essential.
- Experience working in the media industry or for a membership platform would be beneficial.
- Degree or other relevant qualification in marketing, communications or business would be beneficial.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills essential.
- Personable, with ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Meticulous attention to detail and high standards.
- Eager to learn and develop at pace.
- Confidence to challenge ideas.
- The right person for this role will be highly organised; with the ability to manage multiple projects and ensure deadlines are met.
- Knowledge of the London hospitality scene would also be beneficial.
