Job Summary:

Marketing Manager, Trapeze Group UK (flexible/part-time)

Are you an experienced marketing professional with exceptional written and verbal communication? Have you worked with internal teams to identify powerful commercial messages and turn ideas into successful campaigns that engage audiences? If so, we would love for you to play the leading role in our marketing team.

Reporting to the Sales Manager and working alongside the existing sales team, this role will offer you the opportunity to truly own the marketing function and its results. You will develop and manage our plans, and get creative writing materials including client stories, articles, guides and sales support materials.





And you will also have a chance to incorporate a range of exciting tools and channels, including video, animations, webinars, events, social media and more.

In this role you will be supported by marketing resources from our parent company, Modaxo, including access to strategy and best practice leadership, plus digital and creative specialists.

Job Description:

Trapeze Group creates software solutions that drive the Public Transport industry. Our systems are used by the highest-profile organisations, including Transport for London, Transport Scotland and National Transport Authority, Ireland; and all major UK bus operators, including First Group, Arriva, Go-Ahead, Stagecoach and National Express.

Key purpose:

This role will involve the management of the marketing function for Trapeze Group in the UK. Working in close collaboration with our small, high performing sales team, you will be responsible for our marketing operations: developing plans, identifying KPIs, delivering campaigns and reviewing effectiveness to ensure continual improvement.

The role has major focus on communications: we are looking for an excellent writer and experienced producer of different types of content, including thought leadership, client communications, customer stories and case studies. You will get the chance to exercise your strategic ability when developing effective marketing plans - and be empowered to deliver them.







Trapeze Group has UK offices in Chippenham and Aberdeen. This role will involve some travel, both to meet with internal stakeholders, and to visit clients and attend events in the UK and potentially overseas. This is a part-time role (22.5 hours per week) that offers a very high level of flexibility, both in terms of working hours and location. We are looking for the best-possible candidate, wherever you may be based in the UK. The role is part-time with a salary of up to £45k FTE depending on experience.

What will I be doing day-to-day?

You will design and deliver the Trapeze Group UK marketing strategy, producing compelling marketing materials that position Trapeze as an industry leader, engage key clients and targets, and generate revenue opportunities with existing customers and new business leads.







In a bit more detail the role will cover:

Strategy

- Lead the development of, and manage the delivery of, a marketing plan to achieve Trapeze’s strategic objectives

Content Marketing

- Work with internal knowledge holders to produce rich content that engages the target audience (including articles and white papers, case studies, eBooks, blogs etc.)

Event Management

- Manage our annual client user forums, plus occasional participation at major industry exhibitions

Account-Based Marketing

- Develop and deliver Account-Based Marketing plans to engage with identified key contacts

Digital Marketing

- Promote content through a number of digital channels including email, social media, SEO and the company website
- Ensure maximum efficiency in all areas, including content,





landing pages, calls to action, emails and other digital campaign assets

Pipeline Build

- Build and deliver lead generation and promotional and nurturing campaigns to meet and surpass revenue targets

Reporting and Analysis

- Monitor and manage marketing performance using the HubSpot marketing platform
- Manage metrics and reporting to show progress and measure return on investment
- Work closely with the senior leadership team to adjust strategy and execution as required, based on results

What do I need to be eligible to apply?

- A Bachelor’s Degree in a Marketing, Business or English-related subject
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a B2B, content-focused marketing role, including:
- Proven experience in content creation
- Experience of building sales pipeline






- Experience of lead qualification and nurturing

- Exceptional writing ability across a range of mediums, with a proven track record in conveying complex ideas in a clear, concise manner through written materials
- Strong project management skills with proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
- Ability to interact with senior management, product teams, external agencies and customers
- Demonstrable passion for building relationships and supporting sales activity
- Must be able to travel both domestically and internationally, e.g. to attend trade and training events

It’s not a deal breaker but we would really like it if you also had:

- Experience of marketing automation tools e.g.,





HubSpot or similar
- Experience of running Account-Based Marketing campaigns
- Experience in a marketing role within the IT sector
- Knowledge or experience of people transportation
