Lead DevOps Engineer (AWS / KS8 / EKS / ECS) - Hedge Fund - London

We are recruiting a Lead DevOps Engineer for a major hedge fund. This is a leadership role (30%) but mostly hands-on (70%) / IC.

The Role:

- Act as technical lead / architect
- Provide stewardship for POC's
- Provisioning and automation of AWS Infrastructure
- Implement: observability, security, telemetry, proactive monitoring
- Collaborate with software / data engineers / data scientists

Skills:

- Expert with container orchestration (ECS, EKS)
- Expert with Cloud Native ecosystem (K8s, GitOps, CI / CD)
- Strong coding skills in Python / Bash
- Expert is IaC frameworks (AWS CDK,





Terraform, Cloud Formation
- Min 5 - 10 years in Cloud DevOps
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science
- Experience of config management tools like Ansible
