As a fully regulated business by both the PRA and FCA, we need to continually assess the performance of our Chief Information and Digital Office (CIDO) function ensuring we maintain required quality in all activity from major change delivery to business-as-usual activity.

This is a key role in the Planning,





Performance & Insight function sitting in Central CIDO Operations. The role will help define and manage the cadence, gather insight, and assess performance to ensure quality across the entire function.

You will be a subject matter expert who will guide where possible, and mandate where essential, while engaging positively with all staff from the Executive and Board down through day to day quality and performance duties.

This is a role where you will be required to get under the skin of the CIDO Operating model. You will help set the drumbeat and ceremonies, develop and maintain CIDO Op Model collateral and Org design structures, and develop performance scorecards.

You will use your experience to really understand the challenges within CIDO and work with CIDO leaders and your peers in the Office of the CIDO team to drive improvement.

Key deliverable / accountabilities of the role, at different times the emphasis of your role will switch between the following :

Supporting the definition and development of CIDO performance framework and measures,





aligned to CBS strategic goals and objectives.

You will collaborate with the SAFe Product Portfolios, CIDO departments and wider interested CBS parties, for successful setting and tracking of results and output as consumable insight to all levels within and beyond CIDO.

- Contribute to the assessment of quality within the CIDO function, and influence consistency across the SAFe Product Portfolios and Shared Services, supporting the flow of activity across the overall CIDO Operating Model.
- Maintaining how the CIDO SAFe cadence and drumbeat aligns with corporate strategic planning and finance processes and ensuring the outcomes for each planning increment are defined upfront, focussed on through the increment and then measured for success post-delivery.
- Provide the CIDO Leadership team with high level,





expert advice on emerging issues or concerns regarding CIDO Performance enabling decision making at all levels.
- Responsible for gathering insight on the workings of the CIDO SAFe Operating Model and identifying improvement opportunities as well and ensuring successes are celebrated internally and externally.
- Responsible for developing, maintaining, and publishing CIDO insight and knowledge through a central knowledge base for use by the CIDO organisation, including up to date information on the CIDO Operating model, organisational design, model dynamics and interactions within and beyond CIDO.

About you

You will :

- Build relationships, influence and work collaboratively with diverse leaders.






- Come with proven experience supporting effective governance and assurance in the Scaled Agile Framework.
- Be able to communicate ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences to help shape decision making and understanding of dependencies.
- Have a strong ability to design and implement dashboards; ability to analyse data and present it in a way that tells a story.
- Have the ability to take train and portfolio level outcomes and interpret to help teams align to strategic value
- Be comfortable with ambiguity, can handle the unexpected with flexibility
- Have good interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written.
- Enjoy taking the lead on work and be comfortable with empowerment
- Be highly organised with the ability to work on your own initiative.
- Demonstrate critical thinking and analysis, using risk analysis,





business intelligence and general problem solving techniques to achieve outcomes and able to work to a high degree of accuracy.
