We are delighted to present an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and experienced History Teacher to join a highly successful and well-resourced department at a prestigious Secondary School in South London.
About the School

They are seeking a passionate and dedicated History Teacher who can inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be a qualified History Teacher with experience teaching KS3 / 4 and 5. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the curriculum and a passion for bringing history to life for students.
They will also be able to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality History lessons to KS3 / 4 and 5 pupils
- Develop and implement engaging and effective teaching resources
- Work collaboratively with other History teachers to ensure consistent and high-quality teaching
- Assess and track student progress to ensure that all students are making good progress
- Support students in their academic and personal development
- Contribute to the wider school community
Qualifications and Experience
- Qualified History Teacher (QTS or PGCE)
- Experience teaching KS3 / 4 and 5 History
- Strong understanding of the History curriculum
- Passion for History and the ability to bring it to life for students
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with others
- Commitment to providing all students with the opportunity to succeed
Salary
The salary for this History Teacher position will be paid to scale MPS / UPS.
