12 months Fixed Term Contract
Location Baileys Mallusk
Based On-site 5 days a week

We have an exciting opportunity for a Quality, Environmental, Health & Safety (QEH&S;) professional to join our team at the historic and world-famous Bailey's site in Mallusk (Newtownabby) or Belfast.

About the Role
This is a brilliant opportunity for an expert QEH&S; Manager to come and craft the future at our Baileys production site.
The purpose of the role is to protect people, brands, and reputation and to play a leading role in Bailey’s contribution to the delivery of Diageo’s Society 2030 ambitions - including supporting the global sustainability and environmental agenda among other vital goals.
Some of the Key Accountabilities are :
- Strategy Crafting and implementing a site-wide plan for the QEH&S; vision
- Compliance Good working knowledge of ISO accreditations (ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 50001), IPPC License & other relevant QEH&S; legislation
- Culture Instilling an intrinsic link between QEH&S; and the day-to-day activities across the site and team
- People Management Directly mentor the QEH&S; coordinator, and by influencing effectively, work through others
- Collaboration Engagement with the Diageo Global QEH&S; community, sharing learning and best practice staying ahead of the curve
About You
To be successful in this role you will have significant operational Quality, Environmental, Health & Safety leadership experience and a track record in a world-class FMCG production / manufacturing environment.
- QEH&S; experience within a process manufacturing environment
- Happy to flex between independent reliance and wider team working
- Strong influencer able to work through others,
not within your direct report group
- Data-driven decision making
- Strong interpersonal communicator, across internal and external stakeholder groups
