Job description

About the Role

The research manager will contribute to the intellectual life of the School / Institute and wider institution. They will be involved in an EU Horizon Europe Funded study- ASP Belong.

The project aims to co-create a augmented social play based intervention to improve social connections and sense of belonging schools across three different European countries (UK, Czechia and Portugal).

The project will include a cluster randomized controlled trial, and working alongside arts organisations to co-create the intervention with young people.

The post holder will coordinate and manage data collection across the 3 international sites, facilitate data management and analysis, and plan dissemination events.







About You

Candidate will have a PhD relevant to mental health. They will have a publication record appropriate to experience level.

They will have experience and expertise in organizing and conducting recruitment and data collection, conducting quantitative data analysis, carrying out systematic reviews and mixed methods research.

The candidate will have the ability to work with large teams and communicate complex information effectively, both verbally and in writing.

About the School / Department / Institute / Project

Unit for Social and Community Psychiatry, is a part of the Centre for Psychiatry & Mental Health at the Wolfson Institute of Population Health.

It has a focus on academic discipline, research, the translation of research into public health strategies and their practical implementation all dedicated to the reduction of disease and disability.
