Job Opportunity : Experienced Steel Fixer - Kingston-upon-Thames
An established construction company based in Kingston-upon-Thames is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Steel Fixer to join their team.
This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with a solid background in steel fixing and reinforcement work on large construction projects.
Key Responsibilities :
- Interpreting detailed construction drawings and specifications for steel reinforcement.
- Accurately cutting, bending, and fixing steel bars, mesh, and rebar to reinforce concrete structures.
- Ensuring all work is performed to the highest safety and quality standards.
- Collaborating with site supervisors and engineers to ensure project timelines are met.
- Adhering to health and safety regulations on-site at all times.
Requirements :
- Proven experience as a Steel Fixer on major construction projects.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans.
- Strong understanding of health and safety practices in construction.
- A valid CSCS card.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to work to tight deadlines.
