Responsibilities
- Create engaging and well-structured lesson plans that cater to the diverse learning needs of students
- Deliver effective and stimulating history lessons, using a variety of teaching techniques and resources
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment, promoting mutual respect and tolerance among students
- Implement assessments and provide constructive feedback to students to support their academic growth
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement the school's history curriculum
- Communicate and build positive relationships with parents, keeping them informed of their child's progress
- Participate in professional development activities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in History or a relevant field
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification
- Proven experience teaching history to primary / secondary school students
- Excellent knowledge of the history curriculum and ability to design engaging lessons
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents
- Passion for teaching history and inspiring young minds
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and abilities
- Demonstrate strong organizational and time-management skills
