Job description
Maths Teacher / Maths Instructor - Southampton - September Start!
Academics are looking for a passionate and engaging Maths teacher, either qualified or unqualified who is able to commit to a full-time, on-going contract, ideally temp to perm, starting in September.
You will be joining a provision set up in Southampton City Centre which caters for vulnerable young people with social, emotional and mental health needs, and other associated needs such as autism in KS4 and KS5.
You must be able to plan and deliver engaging Maths lessons to meet their individual needs. Pupil numbers are low so you are able to offer them tailored learning.
If you enjoy teaching other subjects, or enjoy any extra-curricular activities,
they are always looking at new subjects / activities they can offer to their young people.
They aim to give students in Key Stages 4 and 5 an opportunity to access both academic and vocational qualifications.
As well as obtaining recognised qualifications they are also committed to preparing students for employment and adulthood pathways through bespoke curriculum's and supported work experience.
