A look into the role
As a Solutions Architect in our IS team,
you will be responsible for designing end to end solutions and architectures that cost-effectively meet business needs and deliver expected value aligned to the digital and business strategies.
Produce innovative end to end solution designs and architectures, from low-code through to highly complex composable architectures made up of off the shelf solutions and leveraging firmwide platforms
Ensure end to end solutions are fit for purpose, deliver maximum value, and align to the architecture framework, digital / technology roadmap and strategy
Work with business stakeholders to gather and understand requirements and reflect these in designs
Collaborate across teams to ensure solutions are secure, responsive, maintainable and resilient by design
Maintain awareness of trends, technologies, and tools, to contribute to the evolution of the technology roadmap
Contribute to a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement
Knowing you’re right for us
Joining us as a Solution Architect, the minimum criteria you’ll need is :
significant experience in a solution architecture and design role in a large enterprise setting
experience across a variety of domains, such as cloud computing, web development, data management, network security, and system integration.
good knowledge of modern architecture and integration approaches and patterns
It would be great if you had some of the following skills, but don’t worry if you don’t tick every box, we’ll help you develop along the way.
knowledge of common IT frameworks and methodologies relevant to the role (eg TOGAF)
experience as a developer / engineer or architect working with one or more of Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Power Platform, Microsoft Dynamics 365, .Net Core, Angular
