The Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery team at the Royal Devon is growing. As we continue to treat an increasing number of cases we are seeking a consultant oral and maxillofacial surgeon with a subspecialty interest in facial deformity and orthognathic surgery.







The successful candidate will join a department based in Exeter that includes four other oral and maxillofacial surgeons alongside a large middle grade and junior team, serving the population of North and East Devon over 500,000.

The orthognathic service enjoys excellent multi-disciplinary relationships and effective joint working with our four orthodontic consultant colleagues.

Between 40 and 50 orthognathic surgical treatments are carried out by the team each year. The service uses 3d planning for all orthognathic cases and has excellent patient satisfaction.

Our core and wider teams are friendly, collaborative, successful and ambitious. The Royal Devon is a Trust which encourages and supports innovation, diversity, digital development and research.

Our state-of-the-art theatres are supported by an experienced theatre team and equipped with the latest technology.
