Job description
Our client, an interiors fit out and refurbishment specialist, based in Gloucester, are currently seeking an experienced Contracts Manager / Project Manager due to continued growth.
The successful individual will have experience working on fit out projects ideally in the retail, hospitality and commercial sector.
Contracts Manager / Project Manager Position Remuneration
- Salary : £50k - £60k
- Car Allowance
- Pension
- 28 days annual leave with 7 days to be taken as company days at Christmas
- Annual Bonus

Contracts Manager / Project Manager Position Overview
- Responsible for taking the lead on pre-commencement and procurement activities across a range of exciting contracting works and working alongside the commercial team.
- You will be working closely with the Site Managers to drive forward advance planning, programming and management of projects through to completion.
- You must be able to work independently and under the pressure of tight deadlines.
- Compliance with Health and Safety regulations
- Obtaining best value sub-contract and supplier prices
- Procurement of sub-contract works in conjunction with the delivery team
- Will be attending a variety of meetings
- Effective communication with clients, suppliers, external consultants and colleagues
- Preparing accurate construction phased programmes
Contracts Manager / Project Manager Position Requirements
- Full Driving License
- 5 years' experience within the industry in a project / contract management position
- An effective communicator and can lead teams.
- A team player as you'll be working closely with clients and colleagues.
- Experienced working within the Shop-fitting industry.
- Knowledgeable of Building Legislation.
- Excellent in planning and programming.
- Prepared to work over a large geographical area.
- Financial and commercial aware.
